John Sebert

John Sebert built an extraordinarily successful career in advertising, fashion and editorial photography, appearing in most of Canada’s national magazines. His most famous photographs include Leonard Cohen, Elvis Presley, the Montreal Canadiens and Buster Keaton, focusing primarily on a professional repertoire of 20th-Century Canadiana.

Sebert is also a supporter of classic and independent film and published The Nabes: Toronto’s Wonderful Neighbourhood Movie Houses, a photographic celebration of old cinema houses and repertory theatres throughout the City of Toronto.
